Quick and Easy Breakfast Pizza!

I usually like to make things from scratch but since we were on vacation last week, I bought some ingredients to make us an easy breakfast (or in our case, brunch) pizza! It takes no time at all and is so delicious!

This recipe is very basic. You can change it up however you like. I was going for quick and easy, so the ingredients are minimal. I love that you can buy these pre-made gravy packets! There is just enough in each packet to use as the sauce for a regular sized pizza crust. How cool is that?! You jost pop it in the microwave for a minute or so and voila!

I started by popping, my very well seasoned, pizza stone in the oven at 400 degrees. It may not look very pretty, but nothing sticks to this stone!
Who doesn’t love sausage?

Next you’ll want to brown and crumble your sausage. We love sausage, so I used 8 pieces! I like to put 1/2 the sausage under the cheese and the other 1/2 on top of the cheese! (Delicious)! Just make sure you drain the sausage on some paper towels to cut down on the grease. While the sausage is draining, scramble your eggs (however you normally would) and be sure to season with salt and pepper. I used 6 eggs, but you can use more or less depending on your preference. Once the eggs are cooked and the sausage is drained, pop the gravy packet in the microwave. You don’t need to heat it for the whole time, as it will heat up in the oven. Finally, assemble your pizza! Don’t forget to add the cheese of your choice (I used an 8 ounce bag of colby jack). Once it is fully assembled, add it directly on your preheated baking stone. If you don’t have a pizza stone, you can use a pizza pan. I do not recommend placing directly on the oven rack as the crust is thin and it would just make a huge mess! (You could definitley use a thicker crust though).

Tip: Since the crust is thin, I used a pizza pan to assemble it on and then slid it off onto the pizza stone. I slid it back on the pizza pan to remove it from the oven and cut it into pieces.

I hope y’all enjoy!

Much Love, The Glitzy Gourmet!
